What is the Wounded Warrior Project?
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001. As of June 1, 2015, WWP served 71,866 registered alumni and 11,494 registered members. The organization has partnered with several other charities, including the American Red Cross, Resounding Joy, a music therapy group in California, and Operation Homefront. WWP has also provided a year-long Track program, which helps veterans transition to college and the workplace.
What is a Wounded Warrior?
Veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001. The wounds are not always visible and some carry scars that are deep inside. They have faced horrors that none of us would ever be able to imagine, nor would we want to.
How You Can Help
As a Disababled Veteran, our owner has a passion for this charity. During the month of November we will be donating a portion of the proceeds on our mask sales to the Wounded Warrior Project.
You can help. Simply click on Shop and visit our masks section. Make your purchase and we will take care of the rest. This is a very worthy cause and what better time to remember our Wounded Warriors than during the week of Veterans day. Thank you for your support.
